On this page you are asked to provide the passwords for the following accounts:<br \/>\n<strong>Admin<br \/>\nRoot<br \/>\nsshuser<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After you click on Next\/Doorgaan, you are presented with the following error.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-6.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"63\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The above error is in Dutch, it says: \u201c<em>Appliance password for root user expired, please change the password for the root user from the virtual machine console.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To resolve this issue I reboot the Workspace ONE VM.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-7.png\" width=\"365\" height=\"273\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When the Photon screen appears press the \u201ce\u201d to enter the grub menu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-8.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-8.png\" width=\"436\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alter the line that ends with $systemd_cmdline, add the following <strong>rw init=\/bin\/bash<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Press F10 to reboot the appliance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-9.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-9.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"171\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Type <strong>passwdm<\/strong>, enter the password for <strong>root <\/strong>in twice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>unount \/<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>reboot \u2013f<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-10.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"262\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When the machine is back online, you can access the appliance via the web interface and login with the password for the admin account.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image-11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/robinplomp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/image_thumb-11.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"160\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After you have configured the database you reach the following page. Setup is complete .
